Kappa Deltas are never short on things to do when it comes to social life. Be it going out on Franklin Street or hanging out at another Greek organization, there is always someone around who's up for a good time.

In addition, Kappa Delta has a heavy social calendar, consisting of numerous cocktails and mixers. KD has on average 3 to 4 mixers a month, each of which is a great opportunity to get to know other men on campus. Mixers are held at various locations in Chapel Hill or the surrounding area, and held in conjunction with other fraternities on campus,  fraternities from other schools like Duke and NC State, or even Carolina sports teams. Often times these events are made even more fun through a theme such as 80's Prom, Western, or even Tacky Christmas for the holidays.

The other kind of social event at KD are cocktails. Kappa Delta usually hosts one cocktail a month, but sometimes more. While most cocktails such as formal and informal are dressy affairs, some can be as informal as taking a favorite guy to a Hurricanes game on KD. Hands down the cocktail that KD's most look forward to is Kentucky Derby Cocktail. This event is the ultimate excuse to throw on your favorite sundress and hat, grab a guy in seersucker, and dance night away on the front lawn of the Carolina Inn.
